Fires of the Garden

I’ve always been drawn to the structural intensity of the Bird of Paradise, and in this piece, I wanted to capture that "burning" energy.

Rather than focusing on delicate details, I leaned into a heavy impasto technique, using thick, rhythmic layers of paint to bring the flowers to life. The goal was to make the tropical flora feel as though it’s physically reaching out from the canvas, claiming its space with bold geometry and fiery color.

From the sun-bright yellows to the deep, cool shadows of the foliage, this painting is my celebration of nature’s raw, unbridled intensity.
